Xuegong's alkali-free adhesive formulation system represents a fundamental advancement in corrugating adhesive technology. By eliminating caustic soda (sodium hydroxide) from the adhesive formula, we have created products that are safer, more stable, and better performing than traditional alkaline adhesives.
The development of our alkali-free system required overcoming significant technical challenges. Caustic soda has traditionally been used in starch adhesives because it helps gelatinize the starch and improves initial tack. Our R&D team spent years developing alternative chemistries that provide these benefits without the drawbacks of alkaline formulations.
