Corrugator capacity planning fails when teams treat nameplate m/min as the weekly promise to sales. Saleable output depends on order length, changeovers, paper quality, waste, downtime, and converting bottlenecks. A practical model separates theoretical speed from scheduled and shipped square meters.

Split Nameplate, Scheduled, and Saleable Speed

Nameplate is the design capability under defined conditions. Scheduled speed is what planning puts on the board for a shift. Saleable speed is output after waste and quality holds. A line rated at 300 m/min that averages 210 m/min scheduled and 185 m/min saleable across mixed orders is common and should be modeled explicitly.

Measure Changeover Minutes Honestly

Model an 8-Hour Shift with Concrete Numbers

Build Schedule Windows Around Constraints
